Bangladesh Peace and Development Mission (BPDM) was established in 1990 with a view to building a Golden Bangladesh with all beauties for all citizen. It is to ensure peace, development, empathy, love and justice for all. Among many others the main thinker and founder of the organization is Professor Dr. Azizur Rahman who is an eminent twice-gold medalist at national level as the best educationist. When he was Professor and Chairman of Economics in Eden Mohila Govt. College, Dhaka he received Gold Medal from the Prime Minister as the best teacher at national level for his very innovative contribution to teaching quality improvement. When he was Principal, Ananda Mohan Govt. College, Mymensingh he received Gold Medal from the President of Bangladesh as the best Principal at national level for  extraordinary contribution to the improvement of educational administration and Management. He stood first in BCS (General Education) examination in 1978. He stood first in BCS (Education) Foundation Training and also in Principals’ Administration and Management Training Courses at NAEM, Dhaka.

He adapted the technique of motivation, inspiration, appreciation and incentives in teaching and learning process and was able to bring radical positive changes in his colleges he worked.  He was a freedom fighter. He led a 90-freedom fighters’ group.  He founded BPDM in the spirit of Liberation War. BPDM firmly believes in the light of his thinking that human latent potentialities are possibly be unlocked perfectly by motivation, inspiration, appreciation and incentives through formal and non-formal education and training. This technique can substitute peace and love in human minds for jealousy, conflicts and war and can uphold the nation from sub-optimal to global optimum welfare. Consequently we may have peace and love in individual, family, society, nature, nation and the world at large.
